This morning we spent time in our outdoor classroom. We discussed how it looks different in the snow. We used our 5 senses to describe what we saw, felt, smelled and heard. Then we began building up our walls to protect from the cold winter wind. After we came inside we sat down and began to write winter inspired poetry and WOW were we impressed. Snow Cats
Yay! We finally got some warmer weather and some snow, so the Nature Cats took to the outdoors to build some snowcats!
Sight Words
We had some fun exploring sight words if many different ways! These activities will become apart of our literacy menu time. Literacy menu is a time where students can independently practice their sight words and spelling features using many modalities.
